SpiceJet launches Privilege Pass programme in alliance with budget and upscale hotels

SpiceJet Boeing 737-900ER VT-SGB Oregano Nandi Hills by Bangalore AviationNew Delhi based value carrier, SpiceJet announced the launch of the SpiceJet Privilege Pass Programme in partnership with Trident Hotels, Ista Hotels, Keys Hotels, Pride Hotels, Maidens Hotels, Rain Tree Hotels, JHM Interstate and The Park.

Modelled after Singapore Airline’s Boarding Pass privileges programme, passengers can avail special benefits from the partner hotels on presentation of their SpiceJet boarding pass. Guests travelling on SpiceJet get benefits ranging from complimentary meals worth Rs. 1,500 ($32) or a discount of Rs. 500 on their total billing during the stay.

Despite being a low fare carrier, the Marriott background of SpiceJet CEO Sanjay Agarwal, ensures a focus towards enhancing the customer experience. The airline has introduced customer friendly initiatives like complimentary supervision of unaccompanied minors; complimentary web check-in; hot beverage and combo meals available for sale; two-bag waiver for guests connecting on SpiceJet within 24 hours of international travel; and waiver of additional charges on sports kits.
